Students interested in Public Policy and Leadership:

There will be an interest meeting for the  the Roosevelt Institute Club at CSI this Thursday, 3/23. The event will take place at 2:30 PM in 2N-111.

The Roosevelt Institute Club at CSI is part of the Roosevelt Institute Campus Network, the oldest and largest student-run policy organization in the United States. The club seeks to provide an outlet for students to put forth innovative solutions to some of society's most pressing problems. Through policy writing, leadership workshops, and local activism projects, the club will provide a platform for students to become thoughtful future leaders and social change agents. Members will also be encouraged to submit policy proposals for publication in the Institute's journals. Students do not need any policy knowledge to join and students from all majors are welcome.

PreProBono is happy to announce that we are accepting applications for our 2017 Fellowship Program, which aims to send bright, public interest-minded students to top law schools in the country. 

Now in its sixth year, the Fellowship has a stellar track record. Most PreProBono Fellows scored in the 80th percentile or higher on LSAT, with 9 achieving scores in the top 10 percent of all LSAT takers. Our Fellows have gained admissions to top law schools including Harvard, Stanford, NYU, Columbia, Virginia, Berkeley, Cornell, and Georgetown. 

If selected as a fellow, beginning this June, you will receive over 200 hours of intensive LSAT training, law school applications counseling, and personal statement editing. You will participate in our summer public interest speaker series, where you will meet with current practicing public interest attorneys.  From the day you get accepted until next September, you will help build PreProBono’s programming, volunteer to further our organization’s mission, and create the next year’s Fellowship.
