Staten Island attorney Cesar Vargas tells his story of the landmark victory to become the first undocumented attorney in New York State as well as highlights the struggles and power of the local immigrant and hispanic community as they face off against a draconian immigration system and political landscape on Staten Island. This event is in honor of Hispanic-Latinx Heritage Month.
This event is sponsored by the Campus Activities Board and funded by student activity fees.
