Free Pre-Law/Public Interest Law Event at CUNY Law School This Saturday

If you are interested in going to law school, this is a great opportunity to learn about the admissions process and about particular law schools.  And if you are interested in going to law school to serve the public in some capacity, you won't want to miss this:  At CUNY Law School, this Saturday, September 7th. This event will feature an impressive array of law school representatives from: Northeastern, Northwestern, UC Irvine, UC Berkeley, Ohio State University, University of Oregon, Fordham, NYLS, Arizona State, Boston College, Vermont and Lewis & Clark.  There are opportunities for one-on-one meetings with them to discuss personal statements, their law school specifically, or any other questions they have about navigating the application process.  In addition, a representative from LSAC will be on site to counsel students.

For any and all interested in investing in and advancing the future of Public Interest Law, this event will gather prospective students, public interest law schools from across the country, and legal and social justice advocates from across New York City for an afternoon of concurrent panels and discussions on topics including immigration, environmental advocacy, and criminal justice reform, and more.
Hear from leaders at the Bronx Defenders, Immigration Defense Project, as well as experts in housing rights, human trafficking, labor law, and disability law.
Prospective students will also have the opportunity to receive individualized personal statement feedback through one-on-one appointments with admissions professionals from across the country!
