If You Want to Take the LSAT in October, Read This.

This is a note I received recently from the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) in my capacity as Pre-Law Advisor for CSI.
Dear Michael,
Today we are communicating to all law school candidates that we are continuing to obtain more seats and test center locations daily for the Monday, October 28, 2019 LSAT.
As part of this communication, we are encouraging anyone interested in taking the October LSAT that hasn't registered yet to login to their LSAC accounts to choose their test center and complete registration before the Tuesday, September 10 deadline. We are also making them aware that if a test center appears to be unavailable, they can enter the zip code where they would prefer to test and we will reserve their seat as we work to confirm a test center near them. Finally, we will encourage them to register as soon as possible to increase their chances of testing at their preferred location.
We will further reinforce that we are committed to providing every candidate who wishes to take the LSAT a seat on their preferred test date, and within close proximity to their preferred location.
In addition to communicating with candidates through email, we have updated content on the candidate portal, as well as the test center search page and home page of LSAC.org. We are also engaging prospective test takers through digital media efforts through the September 10 registration deadline.
We encourage you to share this information with any prospective law students or others who may be interested.
Please feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions and encourage candidates to contact LSAC Candidate Services at LSACinfo@lsac.org or by calling 215.968.1001.
Sincerely,
Vivian G. Bowden
Senior Vice President for Schools and Institutions
Law School Admission Council
